故事发生在阳光旅馆的10号房，这是一个神奇的房间，其中发生的事情早已经脱离了能够用科学解释的范畴。这个房间里，每一样物品都被赋予了一种特殊的能力，拥有了一件物品，就能够随心所欲的使用它的能力。当这个消息不胫而走的时候，各路人士怀揣着各种各样的目的从世界各地聚集到了10号房间，然而他们并不知道的事，得到就要付出，这付出可能是身体上的、感情上的，也有可能是生命。一次偶然中，警察米勒（彼得·克劳斯PeterKrause饰）得到了一把神秘的钥匙，而这把钥匙正归属于10号房间，与此同时，米勒的女儿亦在房间里无故失踪，为了找到心爱的女儿，米勒踏上了充满危险和劫难的旅程。
